  • Comments: Good race. I would do it again, but I don't know if I will. I'm focused on 50 in 50 states so I have a lot of others to do.

  • Comments: This was a GREAT race! I would recommend and go back in a heartbeat. Have it on my radar for next spring already!

  • Comments: The volunteer support and the fan support was great. The aid stations were well stocked and a ton of volunteers at each station. The only thing I didn't like about the race was that there were a few very sharp turns, and 180s you had to do. But, overall, a fantastic race. The medals were really nice.

  • Comments: This such an outstanding race, I can't say enough about what a wonderful job the organizers do and how great the volunteers and the people of Fargo were. Just awesome! I hope to be back in a year or two to take a shot at BQ'ing when I am better-trained!

  • Comments: Overall, good race. The half-marathoners crowded the last 8 miles or so and the post-race food was a mess though.

  • Comments: First Marathon. Went down with Friends. Learned so much about myself and my abilities. In hindsight I think I may want to do more, although at the time I had my doubts. I'm questioning traveling so far to race, but maybe if I went somewhere that was more exotic. The organizers were fantastic as were the volunteers. It was worth the trip and all the training.   • Comments: For Fargo, it was great. Good crowds along most of the route, despite folks obviously being preoccupied with the flooding. Finishing in the FargoDome was very cool, as was the ability to see finishers coming in around the final turn from inside the Dome. Post race food was awesome. Even included free pizza. Nice to be able to stay inside the dome afterwards and stay warm too. Only thing this race could REALLY use that it didn't have was wave starting. Aid stations were well staffed and friendly. From the sounds of it, they plan on expanding the size of the race. Considering the mess at the start this would turn me off from doing it again.

  • Comments: I'm pretty happy that I stuck with my pace and beat my goal by a minute. Good self control and a great first half experience!
