  • Comments: I got home and checked the results and was SHOCKED and bummed that i received a 2 min drafting penalty. I have no idea when that happened. Can't recall anything i did that could have been construed as drafting. Never saw a moto with officials on it. I guess it happened on the 2nd lap when it was crowded and it must have been by a stationary official (?). Bums me out because I hate drafters. It's all good, though, as those officials have a tough job on a very crowded, tight, course....but "I am not a criminal!!!".

  • Comments: Very nice race venue. Closed roads on bike course which was nice. Swim was point 2 point in warm water.

  • Comments: This was a well designed and very well supported race. Thanks to all the supporters out there! The bike course needs a little love though, as potholes and rough spots on bridges caused hazards, debris, and a lot of flat tires. Also, the shuttle cutoff for the swim needs to be later. I heard several people barely made it and some even missed it by just a few minutes. After paying $200 and training, it is horrible to throw it away by missing the shuttle. But the shuttle ride is about five minutes and you spend a very long time waiting for your swim wave. Give people more time to make the shuttle!

  • Comments: I really liked the convenience of this race and it is well run. However, the bike course is just so crowded. I really liked the swim though. The run course was fine.

  • Comments: This is one very organized event. It's hard to put on a big-city triathlon and they do a very good job. Also I got to talk to Any Potts as he was getting ready to leave and he stood next to me and cheered on some of the last wave people coming into T2. Really nice guy and classy thing to do.
