  • Comments: Fantastic race and I would recommend this to anyone at any level. I don't think marathons are for me but I would do this one again if pushed. I live locally, which has a lot to do with decision to do another.

  • Comments: My first marathon and I will remember it for the rest of my life. Probably the hardest thing I've done to date (doesn't help I had a bum knee) but I will definitely run another soon!

  • Comments: Steamtown Marathon Rocks. From the manageabe-sized 2,000 people field, to the funny Race Director updates, to all the townspeople who come out and cheer, and the peak of Autumn scenery with mountains and rivers - it's just an amazing race.

  • Comments: This marathon was everything I ever wanted in a Race. The race coordinators, volunteers and spectators were all phenomenal. The size of the race (considered a medium-size marathon) was perfect. The scenery of rivers, mountains and forests -- all during the PEAK of AUTUMN -- was to die for. My children loved the rains at Steamtown. The course is fast, really fast ...if you listen to the advice given. This is a dream race from every aspect and wild horses will have to keep me away from running this marathon every year, for several years to come.   • Comments: I think this has to be one of the best fall marathons in the northeast. Of course the perfect weather plays a big part of my saying that. If it was 40 degree rain I might have a different feeling about the race.
