  • Comments: Sad that this is the last year for this race. Set-up annouced they are losing money on this race and this is the last year. One of my favorite races so I am sad to see it go away.

  • Comments: This was the worst race that I competed in this year. Not enough room for everyone on the dock, steep hill from the swim area to the transition area, traffic moving in and out during the bike and run seqments, no one was at the run turn-around, crappy awards.

  • Comments: This is my only race so far so nothing to compare it to. This is almost a 2 hour drive from my house and I will definitely go back next year. Love the area and even though the course is tough, its still awesome to finish a demanding course like this.

  • Comments: Talking with the RD, about 1/5 of the volunteers actually showed up. Traffic control sucked.

  • Comments: I heard a lot of people made the same mistake about turning too soon on the bike course. Hopefully they will fix that for next year, but I'll know not to make that mistake again. I had a lot of fun and I would love to do this race again next year when I'm trained, and see what a difference it would make in my times. I popped my triatholon cherry, I'm not a virgin anymore.
