  • Comments: This was a good race for me. Over 4 minutes faster on the same course from last year. It's hard to be apples to apples here since the temperature and humidity were much higher this year than last. I heard some discussion about course confusion on the Oly course and the impact on the chip-timing results. My time was off by 5 minutes but I think that was the wave interval. My original wave was #9 but on race day they switched the 40-44 AG to wave #8. I think that's where the 5 minute discrepenacy came from. Looks like most of the times have been corrected in the results posted on line. It was cool to have the Q&A with Chris Legh on Saturday.

  • Comments: KLM still doesn't do a post race ceremony. Probably never will. We actually started 5 minutes ahead of time which was nice.

  • Comments: Good race, I heard there were 900 people between the long, short, and du with many of them walkups at packet pickup. They rearranged the starting heats a bit and it worked out. No results available on-site and online results weren't available for more than a day, judging by the chaos in the online splits, there was a lot of hand work to get those results ready.

  • Comments: Nothing to speak of post-race. No prelim results, no music, nothing. I really enjoy this race and will probably be back next year, but I really wish I could at least buy some food or something.

  • Comments: Pros: Organizer went over everything about the course before the swim and made sure everyone knew what to expect. Made accommodations for my late arrival. Cons: Still waiting on results... No post-race activities... No post-race awards... No signage for run turnaround...
