  • Comments: Really great volunteers, very well organized, cheering section at the end was a little sparse, but it is a smaller race than Thunder Road. Very enjoyable race. Nice to have access to the YMCA afterward to use the showers.

  • Comments: Nice course. Uphill for the last 1.5 miles makes it challenging. Almost perfect weather.

  • Comments: Solid race. Lots of police traffic control and volunteers. Solid post-race expo in Wachovia atrium. Drink stations every two miles.

  • Comments: No one could figure out where the starting line was. The start was late which sucked cause it was really cold and windy out. There was no speaker to tell us when the race started it was just one man yelling at over 600 people to GO! LOL

  • Comments: Despite the ridiculous wind, I still ended up with a new PR by about :40. I had been on pace to go around 2:08 until the last 2 miles and then I blew up. If I'm going to run so much on the treadmill, I need to mix up the incline some. I've also been letting myself cruise at a lower speed than I intend on running these races. I need to step up my training pace.
