  • Comments: Aside from the run I thought it was good! I do think they need to do something about the swim because people were cutting corners and not going around the outer most bouy.

  • Comments: I didn't take this race too seroiusly, I wanted to assess my fitness level for my 'A' race in September.. I think I know now. Tought course, but I'm very glad I did it. liked the small size in a way, but larger group would have probably helped me not be so close to last.

  • Comments: this was a good race, I liked the small field (~250 racers), a very tough course for me, but I'm glad that I did it

  • Comments: Overall, this was a good race. It was well run and fun. Apart from the side stitch, everything else was good.

  • Comments: the post race party was at the Biltmore Grill in Charlottesville. Free blue moon pitchers!!! woo hoo!! that was nice. There weren't alot of people there, though. It isn't near the event sight, and being a sunday alot of people just want to get home. while i thoroughly enjoyed my beer, i think it would be much nicer to skip the beer cost and get medals. this is the only race i have been to where there were none.

  • Comments: Still don't give away medals or trophies. But they do buy beer at a local bar (The Biltmore) after the race.
