  • Comments: Race packet was thin. T-shirt and a single mini Clif Bar sample. Nicely controlled race -- i.e. no traffic issues, although had to be careful of gravel on some turns.

  • Comments: Prior to March, I couldn't run 1/2 mile, bike 1 mile > 15 mph, or swim more than 25 yards freestyle. I started running in March, cycling in May, and swimming in June. My goals for this race were: 1) Finish better than 1:45 (and optimistically 1:30) 2) Freestyle the swim and run the entire run 3) Not get passed by a mtn bike 4) Take my time in the transitions and "soak it all in" I met each goal and exceeded even my optimistic time.

  • Comments: This was really a great race to do for my first tri. It was very organized, and the volunteers were really awesome. I'd like to do it next year and blow my time from this year away! I'm a triathlete.

  • Comments: This was a great race for my very first one. This will be the last one for this season, and next year I will be signed up for more. Biking is my strongest discipline, so need to focus on swimming and running faster. Made many new friends at this race and had an amazing time. I feel like I truly can accomplish anything. The training I did was so worth the end result. Most important...My family and several friends were there to support and show their love, I simply can't ask for anything more.

  • Comments: I really enjoyed myself at this race and was very appreciative of the post race food. The volunteers were awesome and I thought the run was spectator friendly. It was nice having little kids wave and cheer for you. Plenty of post race shade an picnic tables to lounge on.
