• Comments: This gets a # because it was Michelle's first. It was very unorganized and the lack of chip timing grinds my gears. I probably won't do this race again but it was more like a fitness gague more than anything. I did have a great time though. I ended up 3rd in my age group but we didn't stay for the awards. We went and chowed down on pancakes instead, which was more fun.

 • Comments: i know there will be other races for me and they will be much more organized, and i didn't like the fact that there was no chip time. but for being my first triathlon i will take this as an experience and remember and work off of it to get better... on a positive note, when i crossed the finish line as a TRIATHLETE...i kind of took a few seconds off to the side and just thought about what i did and what i accomplished. and my twin was there and my friends which ment so much to me. also found out that i placed 3rd in my age goup!!! and i had my BT tatoos on, and as for my all my workouts with my workout partner...THANK YOU!!

 • Overall course based on my ability: Too hard

 • Comments: I don't know about the post race activities as by the time I got done, the crews were working at packing p, the rack my bike was on was the only rack left in Transition. The clocks were packed away, and the road cones were also put away for the finish shoot. I found that the race results had been posted for the race, and I didn't get a final time for some reason. I will have to email someone to try and get it corrected. I have the approximate times I put here from my heart rate monitor, so I can try to get the race director to accept that time.

 • Comments: This was the first triathlon I went to. I don't know if other events are as disorganized as this one was or not. As a volunteer, I was just told to show up at 7:15 AM. I was not told were, so I just followed people that I saw. I started the day by setting up trashcans with ice and water bottles, and then moved to sorting goodie bags and helping pass them out to pre-registered participants. I then did body marking for the tri participants. Following that up with being given a short explanation on how to use the timing box to time athletes leaving T2. All in all it was an enjoyable experience. See photos of the event

 • Comments: No timing chips made transition timing immpossible. Was worried about not getting my times right, overall not a big deal, though, volunteers took race numbers and I was so far at the end of the pack that they had plenty of time to get my number.
