  • Comments: Overall Amber and the Lake County Rec Dept. did a great job. This is a beautiful course in one of the most scenic areas of the country. I can't complain too much though. The fast guys were in the Olympic this year so I got lucky and took home the sprint win. I think they should start the Olympic swim heats earlier. I'd like to see water at the aid stations too.

  • Comments: This is a great race and I would recommend it for anybody. Maybe the most beautiful race I've ever done - although the bike in the Aspen tri is gorgeous too. And there are volunteers everywhere.

  • Comments: This is a great race in a gorgeous location. Absolutely will be back again in the future. Plenty of volunteers, a good lunch following it and some fun raffle prizes. And it's closer to where I live than all the Front Range races, always nice. (Side note, overall rankings just from women, not entire field, can't find true overall rankings in results)

  • Comments: This was my first tri, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I loved it. I felt really good about my race overall. I still have a lot more training to do, but I'm even more motivated now and looking forward to the next one.

  • Comments: This is a first class race. I wish more front rangers would come up. Yes it is a hard course, but it is a fun course. I was thrilled to get the W today... it hasn't happened in a while. After looking at the results, I beat number 2 by 11 seconds. My transitions totaled 1:04, number 2's transitions totaled: 1:28, so there you have it!

  • Comments: I enjoyed myself immensely despite my disappointment with the run. The course and the day were beautiful, and I definitely plan on doing this race again next year.

  • Comments: I will do this again! I hope that next year it is USAT sanctioned, but this is a great race in a beautiful setting. Great post race food and one of my favorite courses yet!
