  • Comments: This is my second shot at this event. It's difficult but I enjoy the challenge. This year I was either faster or there was better organization since I wasn't so hung up at the beginning of the single track. A few places where things bunched up but overall better than last year. I would like to see at least one more water station on the loop and a little sharper set of volunteers working them. Overall, I like this race and would return in 2012.

  • Comments: My only complaint is the start. With a 500 registrant field I think the time is right for waves. Otherwise, nice volunteers. They need more drink stations and be a little better prepared with water ready. I think they got swamped and then were behind. But they smiled and were very patient. Overall a good experience.

  • Comments: Great race and good intro to trail running. Signed up on race day so did not get a swag bag and had to settle for generic race tee, but thats my fault for procrastinating. Post race was kind of boring, but its a state park so i wasnt expecting much of a throwdown to begin with. Will def run again.
