  • Comments: Lots of volunteers but not always the most helpful. No aid stations on the bike, but a good amount on the run. Didn't attend post-race activities. Nice small expo, got some Craft gear for really cheap, and good post-race snacks.

  • Comments: Lots of hills on bike. Swim was a lot of fun. Bike was great but you really have to work on your hills. Run is flat and fast. Only negative are that there were not a lot of assistance going through route to assist if something happened. The bike is really in a secluded area. Also I was disappointed that no medal was given for finishing. Paid a lot of money to participate and trained very hard. Some medal should be given.

  • Comments: This was only my second triathlon overall and first at this distance. Overall I had an excellent race and completed all my goals. Obviously not much to compare with but overall enjoyed the race.

  • Comments: Didn't like the run course. Interested in HIM next year, but would not pick this course. The other racers felt vert competitive. I trained hard and wanted to have fun. Race wasn't very fun. I cheered on lots of people, especially on the bike. Nobody cheered me on. Would have been nice in my time of need on the run. I was always smiling. Didn't see many others smile. Too many tourists at the end of the course, walking through the run. Poorly supervised in high tourist areas.
