  • Comments: for the first time in 4 years of racing i was about to call it quits.i am still not sure if i will race in sept or end my season right now. I need to re-assess what i will do. Motivation was not there this year. Tri club lacked coaching and this affected me more than i tought. I need to find a coach or join another club next year.Or maybe i just need to do something else. It was fun to meet Robert and to see a friend do his first tri.

  • Comments: I would have been happy that they put a second aid station out there this year, the run was hot and we needed fluid out there more than usual. After the race I met Isabelle(chipit muffin) from BT. It was cool to meet you there Isa :)

  • Comments: Doing a ill prepared duathon in the midday heat is not for me. I am glad to see that i have now the fitness to do it, but it took all i had. 2 years ago i would have had to drop out. I will maybe try a du at the start of the season in early may but not in august if i can help it! Kudos to all the duathletes, you are tough! I managed a 5K PR wich is great so a good experience to learn more about myself and the sport!

  • Comments: This was my first tri ever and my goal was to cross the finish line standing. I am really glad i did it and now i have a benchmark for next year. I am looking forward to doing more races next year and spending more time on my bike.

  • Comments: I did better on this tri than my first and it was an OW swim. I need to get stronger on the bike and most of all on the run. A lot of work lies ahead but after what is now my second triathlon , i know that i can do it and be better. i am addicted!!! Message to the crazy canucks: i'm in for the winther challenges (big part of this summer's successes)

  • Comments: Well organized, good activities. Very festive. People have a good time and the race gives everyone a chance to do well.

  • Comments: My only negative comment is that there were too little portable bathrooms and/or changing areas. You would often need to wait 10-15 just to take a quick pee because people were in there getting changed. It can get prettu annoying. Other than that it was great. Obviously I have no other race to compare to however I did go see a TRi last month and it seemed much smaller and less well organized than this one.
