  • Comments: Good race, great experience. Thought there would have been a finisher's medal but maybe they don't do that for short races? Nice swag bag and a decent expo although a bit cramped.

  • Comments: For a local race this one is well done. The transition was well done and the post race had good stuff.

  • Comments: I'd definitely do this race again. It was well-organized and a lot of fun, plus the route was great. I'm really disappointed in myself for the stupid swim mistake, but other than that, I had an excellent race. When I got there, I wasn't feeling all that engaged or ready for it but once I got started, I felt great. I guess for my 2nd race, it was a good experience. It showed how much I've grown this season and what I need to work on. I wish I had another race to redeem myself and solidify what I've learned about transitions, etc., but that's not to be. Hopefully I'll remember all this stuff next year, or at least some of it. All things considered, it's been a good year and I'm proud of how far I've come. I raced with a smile the whole day, encouraged a lot of people, put in a good effort, and didn't throw up. Mission accomplished. :)

  • Comments: Not bad for first triathlon. Looking forward to doing it again on a lighter bike with clipless pedals!

  • Comments: This was my first race and it was incredible. Great race for beginner's to get their feet wet or experienced racers to inprove their times. I would recommend this race to anyone, it was so much fun!

  • Comments: This was a nice race with good support. Lots of fast people. The winner biked at 27 mph. Amazing. When you are hemoraging time on the run, there is really little you can do in a sprint race. Even at my best, I can't run a sub 7 mile, and many people did. I would probably do this race again if I was looking for a late season race. Liked the venue a lot and will look for other races here in the future.

  • Comments: I had a ton of fun and a really good performance, but security for the transition area was pretty lax (less concerned about losing my hybrid bike, of course, but still). Also I was under the impression there would be beer for all, but there was not! Not even for purchase! There was only beer for winners (whether of the race or raffle I do not know). There was a raffle but I didn't stick around for it because of tickets to a broncos game. Tacos were good after the race and bananas were plentiful, though.

  • Comments: I wanted to squeeze one more race in for the season. Didn't do much this week prior so just tried to recover from last week and cash in on my fitness as best I could. I was happy with this race, but wanted to podium, even though it is a small race. It seemed I was there because I got out of the swim at the front and couldn't see hardly anyone ahead of me but turns out they were way ahead! I was happy that I went 2.5 mins faster that I did on this course in May. Weak spot is still the run. A fun course and I like the without limits events.

  • Comments: End of season two...I think. Real happy with time, as I had hoped to go under 1:20:00 (last year's sprint of the same distances was a 1:25+) This off seson will hopefully bring a strong push of consistency on the bike and more mileage running.

  • Comments: Inaugural race. Swim course was cool and water was warm. Criterium bike was interesting, plenty of spectators and some cowbells even. Closed to traffic (quite the coup!). Good run. Events on time and pretty good post events. I took fourth in my AG but first place took third overall in the race so I think maybe I'm supposed to receive an award but I didn't stick around to find out. September tris seem a bit dicey weather wise but this worked out perfect. 50 degrees at swim start and 60 at the run finish.
