  • Comments: I love this race. I'll always try to fit this one in to my season each summer. Also, I've got to give a shout out to the crew at the top of the hill. A big contingent of some of Glenview's Korean (I think) residents are always out there with drums, bells, etc. cheering and providing for a supportive race experience. As a participant in the race, I gotta say that they make you feel pretty special as you work your way up and down that hill (twice).

  • Comments: Great event, nice and close, lots of parking. They really do put on an excellent event. I plan on racing this every year as long as they put it on. The Glen is beautiful, the bike course is nice flat and fast (plus very safe), the run is anything but boring and the people working the event are friendly and helpful.

  • Comments: Great crowd support, very organized. If I were a faster swimmer, I probably would have issues with the pool swim thing. For me, it doesn't matter, every is slow anyway by the time I get into it! My overall time from last year was 1:25:53

  • Comments: This is a fantastic race for the beginner. The distances are short, the limit the number of entries to keep the field manageable, and the course is relatively easy (except for that darn hill). Everyone was very supportive and was well planned. I'm very happy I made this my first race and I can't wait to get back here next year.

  • Comments: This is a great home-town race. Actually it's better than that. It's a great Chicago-area sprint, and it's a fantastic home-town race. We're really lucky to have it in our backyard. Everything was phenominally well-organized. Tons of volunteers and they were all great (especially the drummers on the hill and at the turn around - you guys were awesome). Great guidance/annoncements before, during and after the race, good music, a lot of fun. STAY HEALTHY AND FINISH LESS THAN 1 HOUR NEXT YEAR!!!!

  • Comments: Great little, superbly organized race. Most big races are not even this well organized or equipped. Fun race, I recommend it to all local triathletes.
