  • Comments: I would have liked to see mile markers on the bike and run. Especially the run. They had one lady telling the runners 450 meters to go, but that was it.

  • Comments: Great folks, well organized, terrific volunteers - they were everywhere! I would have liked the pre-race meeting to be a little later in the day. It was at 1:30 PM on Saturday which meant we had to leave very early from out of town to make it, then had all afternoon and evening to kill. Okay, but a 5:00 or 6:00 pm meeting would have been much more efficient for us. Oh, yeah. Little detail. I WON THE BIKE! WAHOO! They gave away a nice tri bike and I won it! Hans at Treads was absolutely amazing about getting me the right fit and making sure the bike was right for me. If you're ever in Parker, give them your business!

  • Comments: Great race. This being my second tri and first pool swim, I definitely prefer OWS to pool. Nice event and venue overall. I will consider this one for next year. Nice to see other Bters and hang out afterwards. My wife was going to bring our 3 kids out to watch, but my middle boy was sick with the Croup. Thanks Babe for taking care of him all night so I could rest for my race! Again, this race is dedicated to our baby daughter Pearl we lost this summer! Miss you tons!

  • Comments: Great first Tri for me! Good to see Melanie out there for her first Tri in 10 or so years. Also ran into Dan and Mark's wife Michelle. Cool to see some familiar faces.

  • Comments: This is a good race, and I heard that they are building a Resivior in Parker where the race would be held next year. If this happens I'll be there, otherwise I may look for new events to try. It was great seeing all the BTr's. It is so nice to recognize people at the races and not just stand around alone. This site is great, and I am so happy to have found all the great people here who make this sport so much fun. O.k. enough with the love fest. Thanks to everyone this year and now on to the off-season.

  • Comments: This was a well run race, although I got into the water a little behind schedule. I would definitely do this race again.

  • Comments: First ever triathlon! Training was somewhat inconsistent and took place mostly in a controlled environment (i.e. treadmill/stationary bike/pool). Future preparation may call for longer training sessions (Min 1.5 hours 3x/week - Max 2 hours 5x/week) to include at least one session/week outdoors.

  • Comments: pool setup contributes to delays in start times, but I'm not sure of a way around that. path to transition from swim to run was not a protected path so you had people walking along the path, duathletes running along the path....this added confusion to the first part of the race... good race to experience but probably not one to return to. If you are local, the race is a good one...if you are from a distance aways, it's probably not worth it.
