  • Comments: This was my first triatholon so I have nothing else to use as a comparison. I really enjoyed the event and would be interested in participating again next year.

  • Comments: This race was not the best organized race, but it was fun. The volunteers were VERY nice. Bike course was nice and open. I will probably do it again next year.

  • Comments: This race was so much fun and a really good race for a first timer like me. I had the time of my life. I had this whole zen thing going on in my mind. I was in the zone alright. I worked my ass off but it also felt like a giant party. I know we were all competing but with the rain drops that hurt and the nasty head winds, I had this overwhelming feeling that we were all in it together and I couldn't help but smile. Even though the swim was a bitch I was sad the race was already ending. I'm so glad I did a triathlon and I can't wait to do another one.

  • Comments: this was a fun race...didn't care for the puddles and mud but like Clint Eastwood said ... Improvise, Overcome, Adapt"... The race was well-supported with great volunteers. Lots of porta-potties and aide stations. The course was well-marked and lots of people to point us in the right direction. Even in the rain they stood their ground. A group of BT'ers met before the race and that was fun. It's always cool to meet people you chat with.. I think had the weather not been so brutal, the race would have been a bit more enjoyable.. When the weather conditions are as bad as they were, tends to dampen the enjoyment. But, you have to go with the flow on race day as you have no control over what kind of a day it will be. Looks like everybody had a good time to have over 700 people finish the race... If you are looking for a fun race, this one is it!
