  • Comments: There were supposed to be 3 food trucks we could get food from and only one showed up. I realize this may not be the race organizer's fault, but I thought it was a bad idea to begin with. With the one food truck, there was a really long line for food afterwards

  • Comments: This is a good race and challenging enough for any athlete. The water was colder than expected so having a wetsuit on hand is a good idea. The four loop bike course is great, and square-shaped so that any wind works to your advantage as much as it is detrimental. The run course has a few hills and it is hot but nothing unbearable. It's a great race, well organized. The only complaint is the long run down a steep grassy hill from swim-exit to T1, but it's only a mild complaint. I will be back.

  • Comments: The course was challenging, but not impossible. It tested me just right as there aren't many hills to train on in Abilene. The swim started a little late, but that's because we were waiting on the sun to come up (safety reasons I'm sure). Post-race seems to be lower key these days. Okay food, drinks, but just not many booths or much going on after the race. They did have free massages, but I didn't partake because KP had to catch a flight. Overall, good race and well put on like all Playtri events.

  • Comments: Decent race. Lake was sketchy, bike was good, run was hilly. Post race kind of lame. Not much food other than banana halves. No medal makes me sad!

  • Comments: Overall a good course. A lot of support on water and land. T1 is a haul from the lake but that is one of the challenges. Would do the race again.

  • Comments: Great race - the only things that were issues probably couldn't be fixed anyway, like the huge hill you have to run to after swimming and the obstacles (curbs and artificial turf) getting in/out of transition on the bike. One thing though, please relocate a couple of porta-potties into the transition area for next year.

  • Comments: I always have fun at this race and will probably do it again next year. To bad they ran out of food of the Olympic people. The sprint guys were pretty hungry I guess. And there was no pizza, I thought there was pizza last year. GREAT RACE!!!! I have learned a lot from this one.

  • Comments: 3rd year for me to do this one and it didn't let me down. Wasn't a big fan of the Olympic wave starting 2nd since we got to be out in the heat more, but with the Sprint being the SMW State Championship, I can handle it.

  • Comments: They have some very nice aspects - lanes were closed off & cops directing traffic, decent post-race food - and overall it's a good race. There were a couple of issues I had that I mentioned - the crazy long T1, the swim course setup - that I'm not sure they can do much about at the current venue. The one thing I wish they'd work on is the aid stations on the run; it could have used a little more cold water. Some stations were fine, others not so much. It's a good race & Playtri did a pretty good job overall, but there's a ceiling on how well they can do with that venue.

  • Comments: Stonebridge is a great venue for a race. Good place to swim and a challenging bike and run course. And having the open wave is good when you are an age grouper like me. Good way to pick up cheap awards.

  • Comments: I like the course for the event, and it seemed well organized except the conflicting instructions as the swim start that I heard caused many elites to make an error in navigation. There was a nice group of volunteers available as well. There was almost no food available for those that finished last, however. The pizza had been gone for quite some time I hear, and only bananas were available. The finish line staff should have been more helpful getting me to the medical tent as I clearly needed help. In addition, no results were ever posted for the late finishers, and I left not ever knowing that I had actually gotten an award.

  • Comments: I like this race and the course is good considering it's in the middle of a busy area. The lake is pretty sick, but aren't all ponds like that.

  • Comments: Trimania deserves credit for pulling off an excellent race, especially given the number of participants. Events started very close to on-time, everything felt well controlled, and I really liked the course. Other nice touches: Technical shirt instead of normal t-shirt, finishing medals, the vendor expo. I swim start was roughThe course was interesting and a little technical with the number of turns involved.

  • Comments: I was amazed at how well this race went off considering the number of competitors and a pretty compact course. I was honestly expecting alot of problems and really didn't see any. Although drinks seemed hard to come by after the race.
