  • Comments: The random race numbers made for a hectic transition. Also not having a loudspeaker that the swimmers could hear to start was pretty amatuerish. Overall it was a fun race, but i think that is because i performed well and finsihed strong as opposed to blowing up.

  • Comments: It was a well put on race. Overall, pretty happy with the race, hamstrings were really tight to start the bike and should have pushed it a little harder on the run. Next age group finisher was 6 minutes in front and would have had to really push the bike and run to catch him.

  • Comments: A good race except for the pavement which spoiled what could have been a nice bike course.

  • Comments: The road you bike on is terrible, and the lake was cold, but still I really enjoyed it.

  • Comments: I improved by 5:17 from last year, better in all 3 legs, 20 sec slower in T times, primarily T1. Almost got under 2:00. Tough AG. Stracke finished 3rd only 2:44 ahead of me. My time would have been good for a 3rd place finish last year.

  • Comments: The bike course basically ruins what could be a really great race. The location and distance is great.

  • Comments: It took awhile to get to the awards. I did not check my times until after they did the awards for my AG, I was hoping to get a 3rd place finish after edging out a great fellow competitor on the run. My name was not called and then I checked the results and found I was 4th. They didn't have many prize drawings (all from Gear West) but they were great prizes. The used 10 sided dice to determine winners based on race number. 043 never had a chance, maybe next time.

  • Comments: That was a big race. Wow. It seemed very well organized and there were lots of volunteers. The roads that the bike leg is on suck though. I don't know that I will be doing this race again simply based on that. Yuck. Overall though, it was a good race and I was happy to have done it.
