  • Comments: It is a good race, though I have a couple of complaints. First, they need a larger transition area. It is way too crowded for the number of athletes. Second, I wish they would keep transition open longer before the race starts. It is difficult to get there early enough for adequate set up time, when you have to shuttle in from a remote parking lot. Did not stay for much of the post-race stuff so I can't comment. Also, because of the parking situation most people have to ride their bike back to the remote parking lot while carrying a heavy duffel bag. It is kind of dangerous and I don't think the race organizers spend too much time worrying about that.

  • Comments: It would be nice if they re-routed the sprint swim so there was less of a chance of getting banged in the head. I realize it's all part of the game, but when it's an out & back, and you've got 2 lanes of traffic swimming that closely, and one is swimming blind, you're bound to have injuries...other than that, GREAT RACE!

  • Comments: I heard there was beer somewhere, but never found it. Plenty of fluid, naners and bagels. Great support on the race. Great volunteers. Transition has to be reevaluated to be set up as a far race for all.

  • Comments: One of the best run races I have ever been involved in. Well organized. Well staffed. Just an over all well done race. I will definitely do this one again next year. I plan on doing this race every year. I loved it.

  • Comments: Very expensive race. Racks were crowded, but the race itself was fairly well organized. The sprint cost $109.00, and for that I got an EAS bar and a fleece. WooooHooo. Of course, I did get the opportunity to ride my bike, swim in a lake and go for a runny type thing with a bunch of my friends... and I suppose you can't put a price on stuff like that. This is a sprint PR. With a longish swim. :)
