  • Comments: 3D does a great job with their races. They normally have sub sandwiches, but today for some reason they ran out of them very early. I'm slow, so I guess I understand this, but some people who ran 3:00ish said they were out of food early. Suspect that non-racers were helping themselves, which is a problem at a lot of races.

  • Comments: This was my 5th year here. I loved this year's run course as it had a lot of shade (previous years are across the dam in the sun, flat and straight).

  • Comments: No water on the bike. They should have at least had something at the turnaround in case people lost a water bottle or something. The medals sucked! A generic medal with an event sticker on it...seriously?

  • Comments: This was my very first triathlon. For a fatty (255lbs) who's just getting into the sport, it was probably the perfect distance. A challenge, but not so much that I was afraid of it.

  • Comments: This was my first year doing this event and it was a good race. Well organized and lots of volunteers. It was a hot day and they were ready with plenty of drink stations on the run and they were even giving out cold towels which felt great.

  • Comments: I probably shouldn't have tried to race with the ITBS issue, but I thought I could still get in a decent swim and bike. Since those two also failed to pan out, I am disappointed in my performance. Overall, still only 10 minutes slower than last year and still 10 minutes faster than 2010.

  • Comments: This is a great venue for our area. 3D Racing does an excellent job and I recommend their races to any triathlete. Very well organized, on time, Kenny and the gang are all very personable and accessable.
