  • Comments: Lots of Volunteers. Someone was at every corner to give me direction. The police force held traffic very well considering the amount of traffic in this area. Drink stations were plentiful. Post race food was very good. There was only one shuttle back to transition, and they could have announced where to find it and how often it would arrive. Other than that, I thought the race was very well organized. My kids enjoyed the parks at transition and finish.

  • Comments: I think the race had some organizational problems. Race check-in not at the hotel but down the road at conference center, no written directions from race check-in to transition area. No parking at the race start made for a mess dropping off gear to transition & then moving car 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile away. Have the race end a mile plus from the race start was strange and the shuttles were not to be seen when I needed them. I hope the race will start & end at the same place next year. I plan on returning & I hope I will be able to run.

  • Comments: They need oganizational help. The transition area was pretty wide open, they need to close it down, I could have left with a few bikes. Mandatory body markings and chips should be required to enter and both entry and exits should be monitored. The bike in traffic was pretty dangerous I thought. Not a race for trying again, liked the town, but the biking and traffic seemed like a bad combo.

  • Comments: Great job once again by Jim Rainey and the Georgia Multi-Sports Team. Great first year event and a great venue!! A MUST return for 2010.
