  • Comments: Great people and great volunteers. Katmac does an awesome job! Love this race. Seems like the award winners announced were not the actual winners... actual winners were not the winners announced at the event. Seems like a timing issue.

  • Comments: There was definitely some confusion from volunteers about what they should be doing, how to direct. Some awkwardness with the opening to transition being narrow (this was also run out) and people taking bikes out of transition while people were still racing - they should have not allowed that until everyone was off the bike course. Race food was not great at all and would have preferred something other than bagels, bananas and burritos. We also had to ask this morning where the mount line was (there was a dismount sign but not mount sign).

  • Comments: Race was a lot of fun. The volunteers are wonderfully enthusiastic. The popsicle at the end was great. Lot's of newbies made it a great environment. The race started about 15-20 minutes late. The swim should be changed to have only one direction in each lane. A volunteer should be posted at the turnaround. I was very pleased with my time, although I wonder how much better I'd be on a race bike.

  • Comments: the race itself was great. Course was well marked and it went off without a hitch. race-prep however was lacking. I didn't feel like they put out enough info on the race. How the swim was going to go, where the transition entrance and exits were. Small things that added up. Also they provided doughnuts for after the race.....doughnuts??? They did have banana's and gatorade, but doughnuts, i just don't get it.

  • Comments: This was the anniversary of my first triathlon. Last year was 1:32:48. 14 minutes off.
