  • Comments: Overall, Cutting Edge does a good job with their triathlons. This was the third one I have done that they direct, and overall they do a great job. They have a somewhat laid back approach, but usually draw in plenty of great triathlete minded people, who are good natured among other things. This is a nice course for beginners, or seasons triathletes looking to get their season kicked off. Would have been nice to see more people there participating, but I think triathlon in general is starting to drop around this area as far as participation goes it seems.

  • Comments: For such a small race, Cutting edge does a very nice job of organizing and coordinating their races. I would definitely do this race again next year.

  • Comments: For a first time race I highly recommend this race. The smaller number of participants and a significant number of first timers, made it the right pace.

  • Comments: The race was well done. The race staff was very good to newbie's and experienced people. They were very well organized and efficient yet very willing to take time to answer questions.

  • Comments: Difficult race based on the weather conditions. I was happy to get this one in the books! Thanks to the event organizers for a race well done.

  • Comments: The MC was great. She was positive and tried to balance things out while keeping everyone happy during difficult circumstances. The timing was a mess (again). I still don't know how I did within the Clydesdale division. There were no overall trophies for the winners and no Clydesdale or Athena trophies readied for the event (though the categories were advertised). How does this happen? I'm a forgive and forget type of guy but I waited hours for the awards only to be "forgotten". On the positive side, the organizers did have some great food (deli stuff) on hand. I really enjoyed the park and the food (but what else would you expect from a Clydesdale?) The lake was obstical free, the volunteers were postive and encouraging, and the course was well marked. Though not thrilled with the administration of the event, it was fun and I will be back!
