  • Comments: Good race. Nice having a bike course closed to traffic. only wish the run had some more shade, it gets very hot on the run. I've raced a lot of Sun events, and this is the first time I've ever had an issue with registration.

  • Comments: The course was in a beautiful location and I have to admit to taking a little time during the race to check out the scenery. It was a great location for a race. The only negative thing I can say about the race was that the bike course got narrow on at least a couple corners. With over 300 competitors on a 6 mile course, which you have to traverse twice, it got crowded. Because of that, there were times were things got a little hairy on the corners when I came upon a slower rider. Whereas I wanted to carry about as much speed as I could into the corners, other more tentative riders would slow going into the corner which caused me to have to slow down to avoid an accident. It would have been nice if the corners were wider to allow enough room to safely get around slower riders. Otherwise, the race was awesome! It was well run with plenty of volunteers. The race had separate lanes marked off on the roads so you didn't have to share space with cars. Definitely a race I'll do agai

  • Comments: good race. it started about 10 minutes late due to cars still parked on the bike route. so for saftey they delayed the start. would like some more shade in fort tabor, it can get hot on the run.

  • Comments: good race. bike course was closed to traffic so that was really nice. no shade on the run, or for spectators. other than right there at the park, not much to do in the immediate area after the race.

  • Comments: Sun Multisport puts on a great race! Fantastic organization, well run, really, really good volunteers. This is why I keep coming back to this race! We live and train in fairly hilly terrain, so flat courses like this is not to my advantage... Highly recommended event though!

  • Comments: I liked this race a lot. the course is not as easy as it looks on paper. It's flat but there are a lot of turns . The run is closed to traffic , but it's on a winding path with lots of hills. There wasn't as much to do after the race as in other events , but I didn't mind. I thought it was fun that Sun has race number tattoos instead of markers but my number rubbed off before i even started the swim. I would probably do this race again if I knew other people who were doing it .

  • Comments: Sun events do a great job with high quality details like putting all team members in the same area in transition. The delay of the start was to make sure that a broken down car was removed from race course and that the coolant that leaked out was properly removed. Good decision to delay! Although I managed to get 9th in AG my wife got 2nd in her AG... she beat me again... and yes, very proud of her!

  • Comments: Need more drink stations on the hot days. Loved the pools of ice at the end of the race. Delay of race due to car breakdown on the course and antifreeze spill needing to be cleaned up.

  • Comments: Well run race with a killer location. Can't complain too much about my first race, but my bike time kills. What can I say.
