  • Comments: Too crowded this year and not a volunteer in sight for crowd control at the start. Still, an epic race and a lot of fun. I'll probably do it again next year as it's somewhat of a tradition at this point (4 years!) and it was my first 10k, although I still say the Firefighters 10k a week later was more fun.

  • Comments: The largest all women's road race in the country - amazing the event is managed so well every year! Great, deceptively challenging course that I'd recommend to any woman training toward a first or any 10k. This is my third year, and I plan to make it back to 4 and beyond.

  • Comments: The history & energy of this all women's race is cool- the schwag is good ..the atmosphere is positive..I get jazzed at the underpass where the music is loud- and the spectators are neat..the course itself -downtown Boston along the river- is way cool. Today the day was like a summer day-clear & beautiful..The only negative about this race is the crowded conditions..they even had enough porta potties this year!

  • Comments: I love racing by the river on Memorial Drive when it's closed to traffic! It was fun taking the subway to get there and seeing lots of other women in running clothes going to the same place. The organizers recommended arriving at 10am for a noon start. I arrived around 10:30, worried that I was late. Ha! Waiting around for an hour and a half was a drag. I would have liked more variety of postrace snacks, especially fruit. They did have bananas.
