  • Comments: I love this local race; its close to home and the crew tries to put on a race to suit everyone. They have included chip timing My only complaint this year is that they did not have Heed or something along those lines at the drink station on the run.

  • Comments: When they announced the top three of our age group I was not announced, which I did not really expect to place. However, I was really discouraged because the person who got thid finished with a time 13 minutes longer than I finished last year. I knew I was slower but I hadn't expected to be THAT much slower. Finally read the results, a week later, and I was second in my age group! I was only 4 mins slower than I was last year. Whew!

  • Comments: The times were messed up and the organization did work on it. However, I still am not 100% sure my bike time is correct. It more than likely is. The volunteers are great and each year I see improvements to our local race.

  • Comments: This race is actually a fun and relaxing venue. I think the disorganization really came from adding the timing chip and with any new system there is a learning curve. Improvements on the bike and run course were great and I appreciated those very much. The check in process was lacking in efficiency. Better marked outs and finish line would be nice along with traffic control so bikers are not waiting for cars. Some bikers did not know they had to use the bike path and cut through on the road.

  • Comments: Being my first race it was absolutely amazing. Just proud to have completed the race! My goal was to complete the race in 2 hrs. I completed the race faster than expected. A great group of volunteers and I even medaled...of course there were only three in my age group, but whatever I got third!!Woot Woot!

  • Comments: Small race. Good facilities. Nice pool and transition area. No timing chips - wrist bands for each phase that were cut off in transition. Bike course was open to traffic, but no a huge issue. Directions were OK, but at a couple of turns a little confusing. Bike course marking was poor. Runners were all over the place. I had at least three other participants ask me for directions. Too many volunteers in transition and not enough out on the course (at intersections/turns). Good lunch afterwards and nice awards ceremony. Very friendly people.

  • Comments: Good second tri. Different type course. Have a good feel where I need to improve.
