  • Comments: The unofficial Triathlon World Championship of Charlotte - It is the largest triathlon of the season. My AG was super fast - my time would have been 23rd of 59 in the 40-44s and of course very well in my old group of MCs. I have seen this AG as super fast in the last two triathlons.

  • Comments: This is a great race and a good indicator of where you stand in regards to the local talent. There were some fast dudes out there.

  • Comments: 2 beer after complimentary nice touch, locked gates into park narrow 2 mi entrance kept the crowd around

  • Comments: Having one turnaround buoy was confusing; people swam into each other. Also, they need more than one bathroom. My performance was just ok. I have not run or biked much the last month, so considering the amount of training I have had, it was good...but I could have done much better. With the above issues and the really early start time, I will probably skip Latta next year.
