  • Comments: Well I got the first one done. After thinking about it, listening to the others talk and looking at the times I'm really proud of my swim, not just the time but the whole swim. I didnt' get nervous, keep my stroke as smooth as it usually is for me, sighted ok. Overall I had fun, learned alot, and can see where I need to improve, I went to the Expo saw a couple of people that recognized me from the Luke's tent.

  • Comments: Good race overall. Lots of events going on, so the bike course was pretty crowded with all sorts of ability levels, so that made it hard to navigate on the bike.

  • Comments: Almost no food for the athletes. I really felt like they skimped here. Just oranges and half-bananas.

  • Comments: Very good race. I will do it again. I had a fairly bad experience with my last tri- just being out of breath the entire time and feeling bad. So, overall I thought this tri was successful, not so much for my time but just feeling good overall. Now I can focus on improving times.

  • Comments: This was my first tri to compete in, but I've been to about 6 or 7 to support my wife. Overall, well organized by people who seem very supportive of the sport. The course was challenging, but not impossible. Would I do this tri again...probably not, mainly because of the 3 looped bike course and cold/early season swim.

  • Comments: This would be a 5 except for the conditions on the bike course. Way too many people got flats on it. Lots of DNFs on the Sprint, and I saw several on the Oly as well. Bad bull. As for me, this was my best race ever. My swim was great, my bike was my fastest ride ever, and I top 10'd the run. Couldn't be happier.

  • Comments: Considering it was my first open water swim, I had a decent time. Fastest bike and run splits in a tri yet. Enjoyed it a lot.

  • Comments: the only complaint i have is that boulder that I kicked on the swim exit. I wish the swim exit would have been combed a bit better so that sucker could have been marked.
