  • Comments: Mark Mico runs a highly organized race! I guess I reserve my "best" rating for big dollar events like Buffalo Springs but this reallywas an excellet race. The medals were extra cool too!

  • Comments: This was a great first race with transitions for me. I was able to see the different ways people prepare the transition area and what they used. The run was pretty hard due to the steep 2 mile hill, but it would have been nice to have one more hydration station. The bike was interesting and I almost was penalized for drafting, but I finally passed everyone and the motorcycle guy drove away. I know I was more than 4 feet from the guy infront of me. I was pretty cool having experienced triathletes come up to me after the race and complement me on a good race. The race results won't be available until tomorrow.

  • Comments: Was my first multisport race. Had a good time and was glad to meet other BTers Codytriguy and Pilgrim. Looking forward to seeing them at more races.

  • Comments: This is a great race. Very well put on. Extremely organized. Great post race activities. Yet there are only around 120 people each year. A peson is very likely to make the podium. This is the best kept secret in NM. My favorate race of the year.
