  • Comments: Putting together a race this size is impressive in terms of logistics. Besides the 5,000 people in the 15k, there were 12,000 running the 5k right after that. The organization was impressive, the medals were very nice and I also liked the t-shirts. The thing they missed was better food at the finish line. The choices were extremely limited. In previous years, the restaurant Columbia has Paella, this year they did lentil soup, which I tried and was really unappetizing, especially at 8:30 am :)

  • Comments: Great race, they have been doing this a while. Not too sure about why there was no water at the finish line, had to walk 1/4 mile out into the crowd to find people with water, which is a little tough when you are still lightheaded from the run.

  • Comments: This race is fun because it is o large. It was really cool to find out that Ryan Hall ran the race and was going for the record and ran a 42 minute race, incredible, and didn't get the record. It was a hot day and would have been easier to run if it were 10 degrees cooler

  • Comments: A good race as always. Not too big not too small. I have done the 5K the 15K and the 1/2 marathon and all are very well done. Close to home and easy to get to.

  • Comments: Had a great time, wish my buddy didnt back out last minute. Plenty of motivation out on the course to keep pushing me ;) got to learn to like rumming more. need to run more often. Loved the fact that the finish line was 50 yards from my front door.

  • Comments: AWESOME MUSIC! AWESOME VOLUNTEERS! Tried to thank all a the water stops and clap for the entertianment. I put the blow-to-blow in my blog. GREAT to meet the other BTers! I actually have a pic in Tri Take Me Away's Album - I'm the Player-to-be-Named-Later in the grey tri-suit and white UA hat before things got 'hairy.' Although ... I am so old compared to them! What the hell! Afterall, it's ALL ABOUT ME!!!! SOOO looking forward to 2007!!!!
