  • Comments: This Ironman course in my opinion is more challenging than it looks on paper. Be ready for hot and arid sunny conditions. You can see my photos and stuff at amysaysso dot com. If you are up for the challenge they do have a great finish line. I am a sucker for a good Ironman finish line.

  • Comments: Post race area was sucky with no tables or anywhere to sit down and eat, no porta poties. The post-race was really the weakest part of the entire day. The course was solid, support good, post race, meh.

  • Comments: I think that most of the issues were related to this being the inaugural race. Hopefully in 2015 they fix these. Parking and pre-race fees were ridiculous, it cost over $100.00 to do training swims etc. The race blamed the reservoir but in truth it was WTC just raping the athletes. all athletes shoudl swim and park free the week of the race. One major issue was that the town was not prepared for all the athletes and fans. WTC gave food tickets to select restaurants instead of having a dinner. Restaurants were overwhelmed and could not keep up with need so many athletes couldn't use food tickets.

  • Comments: Even though I'm not really into the IM scene anymore I 'm really glad I did this one. I still think that IM Coeur d'Alene is my favorite but maybe not. This one was pretty great. I liked the single loop format of the bike and the swim but the bike course did get pretty freakin boring at times.

  • Comments: Overall this race was great! For a first year the RD did a great job. The morning shuttles were efficient, everything started on time, the only negative I will say is the bike & run are boring! I know both courses had to be adjusted due to the flooding so maybe the original courses were not so bad. Other than that it was awesome.

  • Comments: This was a great race with super volunteers and an energetic crowd of spectators. The bike course was challenging but not terrible and the run course was amazing. For a first year Ironman, things went very very well.
