  • Comments: (Written 7/6/2010) Little did we know this would be the last Draft Day Dash. Turned out to be a pretty decent race. The new course was a nice diversion. If I remember correctly, Angela, Gavin, and Steph ran too.

  • Comments: I don't remember much from this race at all. They do not record the finishing times after the first 100 men/women, but I used the race photographer's website to estimate my overall placing.

  • Comments: It's sad that they don't do this race anymore. Even though it was $5 more than the average 5k and no results posted outside of the top 100 male & female finishers (out of roughly 1500), it was a really fun event. Each year had at least one or two Bucs players attending. There was also an organized stretch/warmup routine led by the cheerleaders. And of course, finishing on the field while you watch yourself on the jumbotron is an experience can't get anywhere else. Now that the draft starts during the week, I can't imagine it ever coming back.

  • Comments: I'll definitely do this one again next year. What a great fun time! It's pretty cool seeing yourself on that jumbotron. I did the stupid fingers thing again! LOL Woohoo for PR's!! Top 100 guys and top 100 girls got hardware. I was 89th. Betsy got some too!! Adam beat his previous time by about 45 seconds...maybe more. A good day for BT!!

  • Comments: Personally I would have liked to see one more drink station. But I should have been better prepared. I could have broken 30 minutes if I would have drank better pre race. I can do better next time, water is the key.
