  • Overall course based on my ability:

  • Comments: This was a very well-organized, well-run race. The volunteers were awesome, the course was clean and well-marked. My only complaint was that it was very confusing after the run in the finisher's area. They had us all stop to pose for a photo, and because of that I completely missed the medical tent, and an where there apparently was ice and massage - which I really could have used due to my extreme foot cramping. I didn't really see anything except the damn photographers, which caused a real back-up in the area and crowding. Other than that, it was a great race.

  • Comments: This is the most flat course I've ever run...training or a race. The volunteers were great. They had cars blasting "pump-you-up" type of music at every mile marker. Thanks, Fleet Feet!!!!

  • Comments: disappointingly unscenic. We did get to run across a bridge (betsy called it a hill) across the missouri river which was cool. The weather may have made even less attractive, very grey and overcast. I am glad I did this, 13.1 is so much more sane than 26.2

  • Comments: The volunteers were great, and there were a few spectators along the course which I didn't expect given how small (relatively) it was. It did get a little tight sometimes on the Katy Trail, especially with the occasional bikers that were trying to move through the racers. I'm guessing that doing a second loop was miserable for the marathon folks and I was just sad that people left before some of the longer marathon folks finished, especially given that it was downpouring.

  • Comments: Except for the traffic jam leaving, i really enjoyed the race. The volunteers were great as were the spectators.
