  • Comments: The race was well put on. The volunteers and police were good and things were organized. They do need more porta potties in the earlier aid stations as there were not nearly enough to accommodate the number of runners on the course. It would also be nice if they had a bit more recovery food for the BOP marathon finishers. These two issues were certainly not enough to detract from what a great experience the race was overall though. I would definitely recommend this event.

  • Comments: I'd do this again in a heartbeat. I loved the course. The volunteers were awesome. Lots of spectator support. Post race food sucked but I did get a few samples of Bear Naked granola which I love.

  • Comments: Over all this race was a new Marathon PR for me by 11 minutes but I could have pulled out a 3:10 BQ if I just had a done a few things differently. People always say that a Marathon is all about strategy and proper planning... THEY ARE VERY RIGHT!!! I blew up and could have had a great race if I had planned it right! Lesson learned... I should have listened to FF Stock!

  • Comments: Very well organized but I have to say the food choices of some of these races is just plain terrible..bagles and bananas? There needs to be real food. Great course!
