When I realized that there exist a large number of articles on Ribose Supplementation I was wondering why I was not using ribose myself.

Ribose is a naturally occurring sugar made in the body from glucose.  It is part of the building blocks of DNA and RNA.  It is a crucial part in the production of ATP (adenosine triphosphate).  This compound helps store and deliver energy in all cells.  Ribose is also found in RNA (ribonucleic acid) and is one of the main information carriers of living organisms and is involved in protein synthesis.
