Comments: Started out a lot slower (11 minute miles) than I did for the Philly Distance Run. Felt really good at that pace until about Mile 6 or 7. Between Miles 7 & 12 I was pretty steady at 12 and 13 minutes per mile. The cool weather made for great running conditions. The sun didn't make an appearanc until much later in the race. What would you do differently?: Train more. This was my second Half Marathon and I have been running maybe 3 or 4 miles a WEEK. So automatically I should bump up my mileage to around 18-20 miles a week. Post race
Warm down: stretched and ate bananna and bagel. Drank some water. What limited your ability to perform faster: training - or lack thereof Event comments: A bananna and a bagel? Wow. I guess they need some more sponsors. Just spoiled by other races I have done. Last updated: 2008-09-22 12:00 AM

I was fortunate. I live in Bucks County, PA. My brother-in-law had a room at Caesars because he was going to the Pavlik/Kopkins fight Saturday night. He let me crash in his room. Boardwalk Hall is right next to Caesars.
Woke up around 6 AM. Drink some Mountain Dew. Eat a protein bar. hit the Men's Room. Drink down some Accelerade. Eat a gel. Grab my race pack. check my stuff in at the bag check.
Jog for 15 minutes and then stretch.
