Santa Barbara International Marathon

Anyone heard anything about this race, good or bad? Know anything about the organizers? Or the course? I've been to Santa Barbara many times but I don't know the area well enough for the map to mean anything to me. I'm considering it this fall, but I'm really determined to have a good marathon this year and I'm thinking an inaugral race might not be the best avenue for that. I like the idea of this race, as far as timing and location, but I'm not sure about the race itself.
