Hy-Vee Team Triathlon

For anyone who missed it, the ITU unveiled a new form of racing at the Hy-Vee Triathlon this past weekend.  In addition to the standard Olympic Distance races on Saturday (which were incredible!) the Triathlon Team World Championship was held on Sunday.

This event involved a team of four (two women and two men) who each completed a triathlon comprised of a 250m swim, 6.6km bike and 1.6km run.  This led to a very interesting race which was fun to watch and had a very different feel.  Watch for the video on http://triathlon.org in the coming days.
