Comments: think i might've went out to fast, first time dealing with a current in a race, i think it took more out of me than expected. was pretty wiped at the end of the 400. What would you do differently?: focus more on pacing out of the gate. Transition 1
Comments: T1 was lumped in with the bike so hard to detemrine time. Feel I did pretty good, passed a couple of people running out of transition due to the fact that I don't have my clipless yet and just cycling in my running shoes... What would you do differently?: train to run without socks, but would maybe save me 10 seconds. Bike
Comments: I believe my time was a little faster than shown due to the long run to T1, T1 being lumped into the ride.. computer said I averaged 18.1 so I know my time was much less than reported for the ride... solid ride though. What would you do differently?: maybe push a little harder longer, backed off the last mile or so to save the legs. Transition 2
Comments: no time for T2, but it was helmet off, rack bike grab visor/race belt and go, maybe 30 seonds. What would you do differently?: going to have to train/practice for when I get my cycling shoes.. going to completely change it up. Run
Comments: hilly course, but felt good.. need to push it more off the bike. What would you do differently?: push it more straight off of the bike. Post race
Warm down: stretching/walking. What limited your ability to perform faster: swim capability, need to focus. Event comments: Team Magic always puts on a good, well organized race.. Hope to do the long course next year. Last updated: 2009-07-28 12:00 AM
