Hwy 289 in Gunter

If you've never been to the great asphalt roads of Grayson county, you're missing out.  I was up there tonight for my bike LT test.  I started just north of Gunter (parked at the high school).  The shoulder is smooth, wide, & clean.  Just north of town there are a few hills.  This worked great for me to warmup and get the HR up.  After the 1st 5 miles, it leveled out into a slight constant incline.  No stop lights/signs.  From north of Gunter to 56 (and back) is right at 22 miles.

Great ride and a great location for time trials / LT tests.
