Pre-race routine:

Loaded on pontoon boats drove across the lake and jumped in the water with Y and Kara.

Nancy A was Y's escort and our friend Chad was mine. I stuck with Y all the way across the lake. About a mile. Next to Y I am very fast in the water. I basically talked to Chad all the way across the lake, Nancy too. When we made it the park, stood up and told me to SHUT UP!! She should hear us talking all the way and it drove her crazy. Of course if she got her head down she won't be able to hear us. It was fun and she did great.
