Very nervous. Coffee only! I bet I would hurl if I ate anything for breakfast!

Stretching and short jog to get the blood flowing in the legs.

Comments:

Quad in right leg cramped pretty bad. Had to slow down a bit to run thru it.
What would you do differently?:

Take time running downhill. I think that is what caused my quad to cramp.

Walked it off. Got some hydration.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Quad cramp.

Event comments:

Very good race. Felt good even though I had a leg cramp. Very good place to have a race. (Newport on the Levy)
