Pre-race routine:

Woke-up too early. Large bown of oatmeal 2 hours before the race. Long Drive.

Event warmup:

Sat in the car. Cold, Cold, Cold, Did I mention it was cold?

Comments:

Good run. Well staffed. Will definately add it to my annual run list.

What would you do differently?:

My pace was too slow. Had plenty left in the Gas tank at the finish. Was my first half marathon in a while. I probably could have ran it in under 1:35

Post race

Warm down:

Ran/walked for 1/2 mile. Stretched 10 minutes.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

First Half-marathon in a while. Started too slow. Mental.

Event comments:

Good race. Well staffed. No fuss on race day at packet pick-up. Ample parking. Crowded start but the course is fast, and as flat as it gets in N Ga but not boring. Great race for a PR shot if you get close to the starting line.

Course:	Flat, Flat, and more Flat. Did I mention that it was flat? Good change of pace from the mountains where I train. Plenty of water/poweraide. Closed course, no traffic to worry about.
