Comments: Dropped my chain right off the bat. Didn't even move one inch. Luckily there was a DNS 5 spots behind me, so I got to restart within a few minutes. Started out way too hard...averaging over 300 watts the first minute or two. Tried to settle in, but then found my comfort zone too easy. Mentally, I just was not focused. As my power slipped, I just let it go instead of sucking it up. My breathing was a little fast paced, but my legs weren't that bad considering they should be on fire. Hit the turn around, and I just couldn't get myself to suck it up for 12 more minutes. That's why it's the race of truth. It's not just physical...it's mental. What would you do differently?: Push harder. Set a power goal, and try to hold onto it at all costs...even if it risks blowing up. Post race
