Got there late. I spun for literally 30 seconds.

Comments:

My inexperience led me to go out a little bit too hard. I led the pack for the first 4 laps (of 12) before getting dropped. I managed to fight my way back and latch on to some wheels before I dusted about 5 guys.

What would you do differently?:

Stick in the peloton and wait for the hills on the last 2-3 laps to make a break.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

My irrational and daredevil-like attack on the 3rd lap's hill.

Event comments:

A really good experience as my first cycling race. I had a little trouble with the sharp turns, especially the 180 at the bottom of the highway.
