Subject: Triathlon Canada Sanctioning Fee
Hey Fellow Triathletes,

Does anyone know what the Triathlon Canada Sanctioning Fee is? I was registering for the TTF and before payment, I saw this new fee. I tried to Google it and did not find any decent explanation around this. Not sure if I missed the announcement around this new fee but could not find it via Google search.

With the changes last year in the Provincial level Insurance for race day, it was VERY clear before it was implemented.

Although this new fee is only $5, it would be nice to know why we are paying this and where the money is going.

At least with the Re-Charge with Milk and Subaru Series, you have the option to fax or email your registration which saves you the EventsOnline $7 charge. But all the fees compound and really add up.

Does anyone have any context on this Triathlon Canada Sanctioning Fee?

Sprint Distance Triathlon (Individual) $90.00
Discounts
Promotion ($0.00)
Sub Total $90.00
Tax (13%): $11.70
Provincial Triathlon Federation Fee: $0.00
Triathlon Canada Sanctioning Fee: $5.00
Transaction Fee (EventsOnline) $7.84
Total Charged:

$114.54 CA

Thanks

I have about 9k miles on my bike, what needs to be done, checked or replaced to be sure it is in tip-top shape? I'm racing IM Canada this summer.

Byrn won’t hold your hand through the long hours and miles required finishing or for success in an IM, he can only show you how to get there. The work is up to you.
