maybe push a little harder at the end

didn't lean forward enough while running

Event comments:

Started race with a horn without any warning. I'm not big on 20 minutes of thank yous and fanfare, but some announcement that the race's start was imminent would have been nice.
Otherwise run well.

At first I thought, "Oh boy, what a mistake!" Let’s face it, I could barely run half a mile, I had not swum in forever, and my biking skills were not great, to say the least.

The boat was being tossed around. Someone noted that there were whitecaps on the waves. Another guy said, “This is going to be challenging.” I began to wonder what he meant by 'challenging'.

My sister warned me about being used as a launch ramp by faster swimmers but much to my surprise I was the one swimming over those in front of me. I went around one woman, then another.
