Comments: It was humid and I was nervous after the Bill Pollom, so I ran the whole race pretty conservatively, starting with my first mile. First mile said 9min/mile (but perhaps marker was off?) Good: better pacing, good kick To improve: find the middle ground to push myself harder --> I think I could have done a faster race overall, but i was afraid to push. What would you do differently?: Push harder --> perhaps aim for 8:25/mile? Seems like if I did 8:32 in Stanford with that giant hill about a month ago, then I can do 8:25-8:20 on flats. Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: my mind Event comments: A really great race at a great location! Well organized, lots of serious runners, so a faster race than my simple local ones. Last updated: 2017-07-05 12:00 AM
