Run
Comments: Ran first 6 with Rebecca. I was feeling good and told her I was gonna chase the 3:50 people. Caught them around 10. Stayed with then until about 17, then slowly pushed ahead of them. That never happens. Great stuff! I think training with the heavy pack the last month or more made a difference in my less than stellar speed training. I lost a lot of hydration due to a super hot and humid day, but I couldn't drink much more. I didn't pass up a water stop. It was good enough. I had Gatorade that last few stops because I felt a tickle in my calves. Finished good. What would you do differently?: Nothing. I think I ran this one smart. I did better than my 3:50 goal, so there's no complaints. Post race
Warm down: None. Walked back to car. Painful legs. Ouch! What limited your ability to perform faster: Nothing. Event comments: 8 of 10. If they'd get the mile marker situation under control, I'd give it a 9 or 10. Hell, I'll walk it out and mark if for them if they'd let me. Come on! Last updated: 2018-05-07 12:00 AM

Not much really. Walked over from Covington, then showed some guy how to get to his corral, so we did a little run to get there. That worked fine.
